    Thunderheader Fitment SUCKS

    Picked up a Thunderheader last year for $150. It was crusty from being header wrapped. I sandblasted and applied Krylon Max Heat paint (which has held up great!).

    Pulled the rear pipe to have a look at the exhaust port. Not wet but sooty. But..... I notice the rear portion of the head gasket is wet as shown. Rear exhaust pipe is also pretty sooty but not wet....

    Sounds like your setup is working just fine. 1 1/32 is a starting point. Anytime I setup my clutch I start with 1 1/32 and then find I need to turn the spring nuts in a click or two.
