I've done it on my 88 Virago. I love it 110%. I've heard a single carb conversion will increase low end and reduce the top end. I don't know how true that is or what the logic behind it is.

Do you have some calipers? What's the opening at now on the clamp? If you're getting really close I'd just shave down the bars a little bit where the camp goes. If you're like 3/4 of the way there...

I went 12 over on my front forks recently and need new brake lines. Bike is an 88 Virago 1100. I got a quote for 3 lines @ $165. I'd rather not spend that much cash on lines... Anyone know a cheaper...
