And Bitcoin?? I would hate to have been one of the people that used the equity in there house to buy it when it was at $17,000

The Trump-appointed administrator of a federal agency apparently summarily banned an American journalist from participating in news conferences after the reporter refused to remove sentences in one of his stories that the administrator wanted removed, is striking, and not just because it represents a direct Trump administration attempt to censor what is reported in the press.
The short version is that Modern Healthcare reporter Virgil Dickson was removed from an agency telephone-held press conference and told he was not allowed to participate after someone within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, now headed by Seema Verma, a Pence-tied conservative whose healthcare vision primarily consists of Americans getting less of it, took issue with his reporting on the "abrupt" resignation of a top Medicaid official.
After the article appeared, Dickson received an email from Brett O’Donnell, a communications contractor working for CMS. O’Donnell called reports of a disagreement or workload problems “false speculation” and said it was “irresponsible” to mention them without more details. [...]
The next day, O’Donnell wrote to Dickson’s editor, Matthew Weinstock, asserting that the article was inaccurate and demanding that the references to workload and the disagreement be excised. O’Donnell’s email also stated: “Short of fully correcting the piece we will not be able to include your outlet in further press calls with CMS.”
Dickson and his editor stood their ground—and at the next press call with CMS, Dickson was indeed removed from the call.
So we have a federal agency curtailing press access to reporters whose stories contain unpleasantries, which is off the bat not what we are supposed to be doing. But that’s only half of it.
The person to call Dickson to make this demand is a curious character:
O’Donnell, the consultant who threatened to blackball Modern Healthcare, is not a member of the media affairs offices for CMS or for HHS.
He is a Republican strategist who has helped GOP candidates in their political campaigns. In 2015, O’Donnell pleaded guilty to lying to U.S. House ethics investigators about how much campaign work he did with money that came from office accounts rather campaign accounts.
O’Donnell, reached by email, declined to answer questions from AHCJ.
So he is apparently a consultant for the agency rather than an employee because he was too crooked for the post? Or does the Republican "strategist" find it more strategic to be off-payroll?
And what idiot hired a man fresh off a guilty plea for lying to investigators? Oh. Right. These clowns. And these clowns have apparently enlisted a consultant fresh off a guilty plea for lying to government investigators to help administrator Seema Verma purge the nation's papers of … reporting she doesn't like?
Dispense propaganda and deploy censorship.
Destroy the credibility of the FBI and the Justice Dept.
Divide the parties to the absolute maximum.
Set him and his family up for future financial gains.
I am baffled that you guys still stand behind him.
Well, there were Tories during the Revolution.
The FBI and DOJ did a damn fine job of destroying their own credibility: FISA
Maybe it doesn't bother you that the FBI and DOJ tried to 'fix' a presidential election, but personally, I think they should all be hanged.
Humongous? Attachment 81560
It is real justice that Rapublicans are scape goating the FBI which has been an incredibly right wing biased agency for years.
Dusty
Yep I'm upset that the investigation into Hillary's emails that were handled the same way as the two rapepublicans in that office before her did was made public just before the election! And the investigation into collision and treason was kept secrete.

Stop buying that crap, Sucker.
Don't you realize that he tries to destroy the credibility of ANYONE that goes against him?
IT'S SO TRANSPARENT A CHIMPANZEE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THROUGH IT.
You are falling for his boosheet.
He is a liar.
EDIT: that WAS funny about snipping snowflake babble. HaHa.
But honest to god I prolly hate whiney ass old hippie libs worse than you.
I gotta deal with them face to face all the time up here.
They seem to be the only growing demographic around these parts and it seems like they all want to do is see if they can get some sort of reaction outta you. Fuck them too.
But right now Trump and his antics take center stage. He loves it! But I am not a fan.
EGG-FUCKIN-ZACKLY!
tactic after tactic, right from the playbook.
It's obvious and laughable.
But not funny.
EDIT: man ya caint make this shit up.
Now the Chief of Staff is offering to resign. The one decent guy Trump has got, went and covered for a fellow Marine who has anger issues manifested through his fists. Was it wrong yeah I guess so but... still, I understand it.
Ok, so go through the document I linked and point out the factual errors. After all, us chimps do love us our bananas http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/banana.gif
OK I glanced at it. Seems to be full of assumptions and maybe's.
You don't think the FBI hasn't surveilled whoever they want anytime they want? They can probably find a judge to sign off on any warrant they want at any moment. The FBI has had problems since Hoover. Trump's desperate smear campaign propaganda changes nothing and no ones opinion of the FBI and Justice Dept.
Have you always distrusted the FBI and JD? Or has it only been since Trump has ramped up his rhetoric?
If you had to trust someone, who would it be, Trump or Mueller?
Remington is looking into filing for bankruptcy, unable to withstand 'Trump slump'

According to Reuters, gun manufacturer Remington Outdoor Company Inc. is sitting on a $950 million pile of debt and is trying to figure out a way to “restructure” it.
Remington is seeking debtor-in-possession financing that will allow it to fund its operations once it files for bankruptcy, the sources said. The size of the financing and timing of Remington’s bankruptcy plans could not be learned.
Some potential financing sources, including credit funds and banks, have balked at coming to Remington’s aid because of the reputation risk associated with such a move, according to the sources.
Remington, which is controlled by buyout firm Cerberus Capital Management LP, was abandoned by some of Cerberus’ private equity fund investors after one of its Bushmaster rifles was used in the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting in Connecticut in 2012 that killed 20 children and six adults.
This follows with the great, but predictable, irony that gun sales in America have come way down since the screeching gun-nut lobby finally got all of its candidates into office.
Gun giant Smith & Wesson, which has renamed itself American Outdoor Brands, said that its quarterly net sales had declined nearly 40% in the fiscal quarter ending July 31. That’s $78 million in fewer overall sales, and the drop may be closer to $100 million year-over-year if you’re only taking firearms revenues into account.
Remington’s sales have been experiencing the “Trump slump.”
Indeed, this morning, Remington Outdoor disclosed a dramatic plunge in earnings for the third quarter of 2017. Adjusted EBITDA fell by 78% year-over-year to $7.4 million, on net sales of $154 million, down 30%.
The “Trump Slump” in gun sales has had a punishing effect on the stocks of US-based firearms manufacturers. Publicly-traded Sturm Ruger & Co and American Outdoor Brands have shed 27% and 43% in market capitalization, respectively, since mid-June, as consumer urgency to stockpile has receded under the unified Republican-led administration and Congress.
Like I keep saying every time since 1928 the Republicans get what they want it all turns to shit! That huge sucking sound sure ain't a BJ.

... and what about Harley-Davidson? How are they doin', Dusty?
Who won the last military sidearm contract? It might be time to do a little stock shopping cause we all know once the Dems beat Drumpf in 2020 gun sales will go up again!
Uh, ok. So, once again, you fail to enumerate any falsehoods, but apparently the FBI surveilling American citizens is simply shrugged off by you as a "problem" (provided they can find a judge crooked enough to sign off)?
However, anyone questioning this illegal activity is conducting a "desperate smear campaign"?
You have some serious snowflake pretzel logic going on there. Luckily, it's late, I'm kicked back, sipping my bourbon and listening to some Steely Dan..

I've never trusted the government and I never will and I'd take Trump ( a non-politician) over a professional bureaucrat any day.
