Larry Pierce and his Garage Company Customs Builder Video for Born Free

Born-Free 5 Invited Builder Series-Larry Pierce of Garage Company Customs from Born-Free on Vimeo.

Life is busy right now, and I'm juggling more film work than ever, but I'm so glad Tim, myself and Chad had time to go down and do this film for Larry, who owns Garage Company Customs near Birmingham, Alabama.

Larry and Ashley were perfect hosts and I can't wait to see them again at the show. The knuckle Larry is building is a looker, with interesting lines and a killer stance, and it's going to be a beauty when it's done.

I hope everyone digs the film.

Issue 12......... East Coast OVERDOSE......

Well, sorta unintentionally... at least at first.... this issue came together as an all East Coast jam for the most part..... VA and MD represent the East Coast proud and show the world once again that the chopper scene is as American as invading foreign nations..... haha.....

So, what do you get when you mix some rad bikes, a Jason Jessee Inner View, REAL tech and some lovely ladies sprinkled with AMAZING art........... Ok, I'll stop trying to be funny....
Issue 12 is ON SALE in the STORE now...

As usual we have some other goodies to go along with the mag........... Some hats....

Sweet sweet tank tops since the weather is getting right to unleash the pythons.......

T-shits in case you're too modest for the lady killer tanks.....

Pins.............

And something a little special for all those ladies supporting the mag.... just to show you we care and so you can show us you care... hahaha..... and for the ladies who like to keep it modest in public but want the world to know about our love affair nonetheless.... you get a free pin with the panties just because.......

Now, get on over to the STORE and order some shit before it's GONE........ as usual, thanks for the SUPPORT!

EVERYTHING WILL SHIP AFTER APRIL 18.... PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND........

The Peoples Champ Fight Continues

The Show Class staff made the first cut from over 100 down to 25. You then decided who should move on from there and narrowed it down to the dozen that you see here.

For this round, instead of an online poll we are doing it a little differently. The bikes will be judged by a group of about 60 guys made up of the Born Free builders, the People's Champ show sponsors, and the 25 final People's Champ contenders.

We have no doubt after all of that, the final 6 pack that will move on from here to be voted on in person at the show will produce a bike that is more than worthy of being in the mix at Born Free.

We will put up the results of this round on April 1st... Stay tuned...

Here are the Peoples Champ Final 12 Bikes...

Bike 1
Jordan Dickinson
1963 Harley Panhead
Frost Buzzard
“Fabricating primarily from scratch with a late 40's manufacturing influence. Narrower proportions, with attention to creating body lines in the sheetmetal for a bit more style throughout the bike."

Bike 2
Kyle Sonneborn
1966 Slabside Shovel
Chopper
“I built the motor and trans from top to bottom. Some cool shit here and there. Built to ride. Paint will be sick. Built what I like.”

Bike 3
RJ McRae
1966 Shovelhead Amen Savior
1970's Chopper
“Space Trucka is a sexy F in a molded frame with a generator shovel. She’s going to be a heavy flaked purple scooter with a lot twisted chrome and invaders.”

Bike 4
Travis McLelland
1960 Panhead Rigid

"Since January I made the primary cover, oil tank, floorboards, risers, wheel cover, headlight shroud, bars, finished the springer, modified valve covers and fender. Living on RedBull and a dream!"

Bike 5
Pete Mason
1940 E Knucklehead
Chopped Bobber
“Gettin' there! Frame, tanks, frontend, wheels, brakes = Done! Workin on fender, sissy, correct tranny, seat, pad & all the little shit. Still lots to do! Still 100% Stoked.”

Bike 6
Shawn Long
1952 FL Panhead
Classic Undercover Virgin
“Aimed for a genuine custom, apart from the norm. I felt everything must be created or modified to compete, look close, that's exactly what I did. Killer paint to follow.”

Bike 7
Alex Pedroso
1957 Panhead
Hard Ridden Show Bike
“In the end it may be shiny, but it’s built to be ridden. Custom gas tank, king queen seat, hand tooling, reserve gas tank on sissy bar hidden by seat.”

Bike 8
Jason M. Roche
1974 Ironhead Sportster
Salt Flat Chopperish Racer
“Fabrication is done. The bike awaits choice of finishes and small details. Aluminum and stainless will be brushed, the tins will be painted with minimalist pinstriping and silver leaf details.”

Bike 9
Brian Durk
1979 Shovelhead Trike
Lumpy Space Princess
"Used up the last of my knife-juice on that cyclops so I had to return to the tree house for a while. Now I'm ready to slay some evil!"

Bike 10
Marcus Ellis
1963 Pan Shovel
Chopper
“No fabrication wizardry here. Just a clean and well built machine. Lean n mean. Built to ride the long haul. Everything except paint, plating and upholstery done in house.”

Bike 11
Bobby Good Times
1946 FL Knucklehead
King Kustoms White Wizard
“Polished motor. Straightened stock frame, kustom made sporty tank, narrowed floorboards, exhaust, sissybar, modified VL, primary cover, oil tank, handlebars, and fender. You can follow the build at King Kustoms.”

Bike 12
Brandon Couturier
1973 Triumph 750
Lanesplitter
"No words needed."
