Sportster For Sale. On the cheap.

Are you the last one of your buddies that still doesn't have a motorbike? You quite skateboarding, bmx'ing, golfing, or you just ready to piss off the wife and get your knees in the breeze?
I feel you. That's why I've got your bike.

Background: I picked this bike up recently from a friend who was going to use it as a donor bike for a chopper build, but decided against it. Nothing was "wrong" with it, but it had been customized in the early 2000s with a bunch of junk looked like a pile of crap. So I bought it, cleaned it up, went through everything replacing a bunch of parts and got it legit for its new owner.

1991 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster
5 speed, chain drive
Mildly customized
Brand New early 70s 2.2 gallon sporty tank
Brand New early 70s sporty rear fender modified (both painted gloss grey)
Newly rebuilt chrome rear caliper, brand new factory brake line
New Battery

Black mag HD mag wheels, 19" front, 16" rear
LePera low profile 2 up seat
Stock style HD riser with chrome 6" dog bones and super skinny drag bar
Right now I'm not running front brakes, but I do have 2 different front MCs and calipers. Bars can be switched. These are too narrow to run the M/C on the handlebars
New fluids throughout, tuned up, 2" drag pipes, runs great

Solid bike for the money and looks decent. Price is $3kOBO. Call or text Seven57-672-790TWO or email jeff@salvationdesignva.com for info, or more photos. I think some of these pics are sideways, and that's dumb, I can send them properly.

Oh, bike is in Portsmouth, VA. Out.

We Ball.

Time Machine Throwback Thursday

Friend of my wife's posted this on facespace the other day. She showed it to me and asked if it was a cool bike...This pan belonged to this kid's neighbor back in the 80s, I guess. When this pic was taken. I'm guessing this thing could be seen blasting around the backroads of Southampton County at one point in time. I'd be real stoked to find out where it ended up.
