I grew up in a small town west of Montreal, Quebec. After age eleven my family moved to Tallahassee, Florida, and I’ve been in and around this area ever since. One of my earliest memories is of me riding on my father's KZ1000’s between him and the gas tank. I think from that point on I chased the feeling that came from that experience. My love of photography originally came from my need to take things apart to see how they worked. Growing up the son of a junker, we would find broken cameras in the trash, and I would take them apart. Being as film cameras had a lot of moving parts, I fell in love with them. On every family trip my father would break out his prize possession camera, an older Konica 35mm camera, and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever. He would on occasion let me hold it and take a few shots. So, shortly after high school and a few cheapo cameras later my aunt offers up a Canon DSLR to me at a great price. The rest, as they say, is History, I paired my two passions of riding motorcycles riding and capturing moments. -Nic / @nico_voit / B Side Photography / Buy a print or two.
