needed to shrink this fender about 2 in on the radius
a couple rounds with the hammer on each side
the same method works to make it bigger . cut a 2x4 to stretch it out and gave it some hammer love
i made a template to eyeball the fender
2 or 3 tries and its dead on
use a ratchet strap to pull it into place, i go a little past the mark
