Ted Stoddard, owner of S&S Auto Recon in Oceanside, was looking for a motorcycle to build and found a basket case on Craig's List. The bike parts came in 4 plastic bins with a frame. When he sorted through it all, all the parts were there for a complete bike, and it even had an extra motor.  

The Bama Swap and Drags was created by father and son team, Rick and Michael Lewis a few years back. Their main goal was to provide a low cost event for spectators, securing vendors that shared the common bond of vintage parts and for everyone to have a good ol’ time. I reached out to Michael for the low down and had Debbie Fitch capture the event for us.

I had the opportunity to meet Dale Yamada during Sturgis a few years back. His quiet demeanor was put to the test with the state's endless nuisance for another hidden fee. Dale basically told them to kiss his ass, closed his booth and went for a ride to clear his head. He is a man that stands up for his brand, family and country. The Born Free Bike Show has become the premier vintage custom motorcycle event in the US. What started out as a small gathering has quickly grown to over 12,000 motorcycle enthusiasts coming together for this one day event.

Matt Ross knew he wanted a Sportster for his first motorcycle and began the endless search to attain one. Months went by, he began to loose faith until his nightly trek on Craigslist produced a 1989 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200.

If you have had the pleasure of meeting Shige Suganuma, owner of Mooneyes USA, you will come to realize that he's a genuine person that lives and breathes our culture. Shige took control of Mooneyes in the early 90s and continues Dean Moon's legacy with great products and events. The Mooneyes X-mas Party Show and Drag and the Hot Rod Custom Show in Yokohama, Japan are two events that bring custom cars and motorcycles together in harmony.

Shige is a fan of CB750 but stepped out of the box to have Lucas Joyner from The Factory Metal Works build him this sweet 650 Triumph. Lucas creates vintage motorcycles using his products from his well known brand, TFMW.

This week we have a photo feature from Willie's Bike Show 2013 held at Willies Tropical Tattoo in Daytona Beach Florida. In my opinion, Willie's has grow to be one of the best chopper shows on the East Coast.

Orange, California is becoming the hub for small shops catering to the motorcycle industry. The newest shop located on Batavia St. is The Tiger Shack, owned and operated by Ryan Mullion. Ryan started wrenching a few years back between Circle City Hot Rods and Classic Cycles.
