The Litas RVA Pink Ink Ride

"The Pink Ink Litas Ride is a motorcycle ride and gathering benefiting local tattoo artist Amy Black's Pink Ink Fund hosted at Twisted Ales Craft Brewing. The Pink Ink Fund will raise money and solicit donations in order to offer financial assistance, education, and outreach to those in the community needing post mastectomy reconstructive, restorative, and recovery tattooing. It will cost 10 dollars to ride, which will include one raffle ticket with the option to purchase more. The main raffle item will be a sportster frisco tank painted by Naylor Finishes, a local custom paint and fabrication shop. Trust us, people will notice if you have a tank painted by Sonny Naylor! We also have several other raffle items in the works from our sponsors including a custom sissy bar by ORE & FIBER handcrafted originals, and a Biltwell Gringo helmet custom painted by Rosemary Jane Shackelford of Black Rabbit Tattoo. All proceeds will go to the Pink Ink Fund.

This event is open to male and female riders and non-riders. Registration will start at 9:30AM, Ride at 11 AM, and return by 1 PM for drinks, food trucks, and music by heavy metal thrashers Humungus.

Please follow our Facebook and Instagram accounts for more information."

Thanks,
The Litas RVA

Workin' on my bro John Boy's cylinders last night.  They need honed, valve seats cut . . . but I got all the cosmoline washed first.  Sanded the aluminum corrosion off the new pistons.

Club Bikes

I knew the Hells Angels rode panhead choppers with upsweeps back in the 60s and 70s . . .
. . . but I didn't know they rode K Models too ?  I guess it had to be at least 750cc, but if we calculate it out, it really only comes to like 742cc ?  Huh?  Ah, he's cool, we'll let 'em in anyway, plus his family runs a liquor store !

Engine Vacuum

A vacuum gauge can tell you a lot about an engine.  It will help you pin-point the problem area.

Early Sportster Voltage Regulator Bracket

Bottom: Stock-type bracket (however, it's been chromed, with extra holes)
