Slimsfab rust repair on joe &gils caddy

This is Joe & Gils Caddy, these guys have some really badd ass rides and they bring them in periodically to have little bits taken care of...this trip got them a rocker panel fixed and the two front lower fenders de rusted, I just cut out the old rusty ,prepped the surface behind it and welded in fresh sheet metal... sounds easy but to do this right it is time consuming, tedius work. These guys also have an old pan and a 59 el camino in the weeds. Low and Slow is how they roll.I prefer to fly low...SLIM 951 217 8814

Started to pour as I pulled in from the last sesh of the day.

I took yesterday off and headed to the west side of the mitten for some fun in the sun. I took me a while to get used to not being on a supermotard, but by the end of the day I found my lines and shaved a lot of time off of my laps.

So Long Al...

Al Knapp passed away today at 90 years old.  AL raced Harley-Davidson motorcycles for over 50 years.  He was instrumental in the development of Harley racing bikes and in his senior years raced a WR on the AHRMA circuit.  Al was a man a few words and was known to go very fast. We will miss you dearly Al.  Thanks to WTTM for the picture and words.
