Rode uncle jimmy last night for the first time since the rebuild. Still Some things i Want to change and and some shit i gotta work out but its almost there 100%. Can't thank my friends enough for helping me finish it, wouldn't have been done if it wasn't for them. See you guys at the burnout pit at Born Free 4.

Al Knapp passed away today at 90 years old. AL raced Harley-Davidson motorcycles for over 50 years. He was instrumental in the development of Harley racing bikes and in his senior years raced a WR on the AHRMA circuit. Al was a man a few words and was known to go very fast. We will miss you dearly Al. Thanks to WTTM for the picture and words.

To me, the purist form of custom bike building is chopping. It all started there. Guys got stock bikes and an hack saw and went to town. Most people, including my self in the early days, didn't have the tools or means to make scratch frames or tanks, so we used our creativity, and elbow grease to make the stock bike our own. Don't get me wrong, I love making things from scratch, but sometimes just slightly tweaking something to make it your own can be just as rewarding and well, just as much work, if not more work.

Here is a neat set of original 50's Flanders # 17 Pre Unit handlebars.Flanders sticker is still present. These are wide enough to fit on springer front end. Killer bends that are not made anymore. These have the step down 15/16ths. throttle. Email me to own .... mikedavis70@hotmail.com
