Zach and I would like to thank everyone who submitted their work for consideration. We know its hard to put yourself out there, only to have others judge your craft. The task of eliminating some was very stressful, as all of the submissions were top notch. You're all winners in our book and we appreciate your time and talent.
Without further ado, here is your Top 5.
Andy Meeh - Vista, CA.
Location of shop: Escondido, CA.
Years painting: 15 years

I'm the painter/ manager at Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in Escondido. I do custom paint on the side for about 15 years, worked with Hot Dog at West Coast Choppers for a few years. learned some jedi tricks from him. Had my own shop for a while. I've been where I'm at for 5 years doing high end show cars and hot rods. I am influenced by a lot of the guys on the list, love the 60s/ 70s Kustom and lowrider era. Always trying to paint it a little different than the next guy and always trying to improve. Very excited to be picked, appreciate it and stoked that you guys have this platform. Thank you! Andy

Jason Mattox - Timebomb Kustoms
Location of shop: Bloomington Indiana
Years painting: 10 years

This wild little trip started for me about ten years ago. What started off as a hobby soon turned into a career that involved a lot of travel, hotels, and show after show. I started out by pinstriping cars and helmets mostly, painting monters and shift knobs, and doing a bit of lettering. My true love has always been custom paint. A year ago I bit the bullet and bought an air compressor and a couple of paint guns. The rest is history. I call Bloomington, Indiana home base these days. I travel a lot less and do more custom work out of the shop. Painting helmets and tanks have given new life to the career path that I love so much.

Jon Raleigh - Milwaukee Wisconsin
Years painting: I've been painting motorcycle tanks for 5 years, but was trained in fine art drawing and printmaking before that.

Hello, I am Jon Raleigh from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Well, ya see, I'm not saying that I've been everywhere and I've done everything, but I do know it's a pretty amazing planet we live on here, and a man would have to be some kind of FOOL to think we're alone in THIS universe.
