If you were fortunate enough to get to Born Free last year, you may have seen the Speedmetal crew and their quiver of killer chops. Dave Barker and the boys build a mean machine we were lucky enough to catch up with 'em in Colorado last month. When the boozin' and carousin' was finally over at the first annual Pagosa Springs Outlaw Snowdown, Dave rolled the bike over into some dirty snow for a few pics. Now, it's easy to look at a bike of this caliber and assume it's just a trophy queen, but Dave rides the piss out of it, the way the Good Lord intended it to be.

Anyone have any info? What's the needle settings, half of the usual? Then set in tandem?
Also, is that manifold a one-off, or does "Little John" still makes them?
Do the intake/exhaust and motor internals (valves/cams) need to be modified?
I probably wouldn't be able to do this to the scout, due to the intake/exhaust size. But it's worth asking.
