Pinned 2013 was a great success, and I was stoked that I managed to attend this event. I was scheduled to be well on my way to California by the date of the event but the stars aligned to have me at the right place at the right time (again).

On the way out of NYC I sheered my rear sprocket right off the hub. Some times a break down has a silver lining... The repair cost me a couple of days and had me passing back through Columbus the day of Pinned, it was a no brainier to stop in. So with my bike piled high with gear I pulled in and hung out for a few hours.

My bro Kareem Jackson has done a hell of a job turning this little chopper shindig into an “up and comer” event that is gaining momentum each year. With great food, great bands, and great vendors it’s not hard to see why. The Triple Six Crew was out in force along with Shawn Hallas from Alchemy Garage showing off his bitching paint, Rock and Ride, and Meadows Moto & Machine, were also present with their quality goods. Jarod from Hard Luck Designs knew I was headed to the EDR directly from Pinned and graciously donated some leather goods to be given away at the awards ceremony in Mexico.

For good measure Jake Smith from The Gents Wrench smoked off a tire again this year, this time celebrating the opening of his new shop. There are wonderful things happening in the motorcycle world and it’s nice to see like-minded people working hard together to do it right and grow the culture and good vibes.

Special thanks to JB Hillard, for collaborating on the photo shoot, the images you see here are a combination of both our shots. (His are the better ones lol)
