Larry Pierce at Garage Company Customs in Pelham, Alabama, knows a thing or two about a thing or two. BFJ caught up with Larry and the Haints crew at the Smokeout XI to get the lowdown on this fresh-baked cone shovel.
Now if a fellow only read the Haints blog he might get the impression these guys are all fun and games. That's not exactly true. Unlike old Haint Nick, some guys have to earn a living, and that's what Larry does by building custom chops in the Dirty South. Here's the quick specs on this slick unit.
Fork: YOU!
Chassis mods: Custom fender tabs and stuff
Tire/wheel size: 18" and 21"
Favorite thing about this bike: It runs!
Next modification will be: Riding it till it breaks again
Other mods: I made the stainless bars and mid controls
Et Cetera: One day my old lady said, "Hey—you should paint your next bike some kind of Jetsons, Spacely Sprocket shit," so I built a shovel with suspension
Paint: Blue Moon Kustoms
Thanks to: Hammer, Stewie, Nick and Gladys Night
