ChopperGent is a limited run, bi-monthly 'premium' publication that prides itself on world-class photography looking into the lifestyle of 70s and 80s Choppers and all that go with it including the surf, skate, lowrider and custom van world. A major part of that culture includes beautifully photographed woman, travel destinations and one of a kind artist.
Here's a sneak peek at Vol 3
Jeff Lovelady of @grayspeedcycles in St Petersburg, FL stands proudly with his 1959 ‘Pre-Unit Triumph that was a passionate collaborative effort between Jeff and several of his close local friends in the industry. The term ‘clean build’ is thrown around a lot in this industry, but this beauty named ‘Snowblind’ is as clean as they come.
When you are a talented bike builder living in South Florida, the warm weather never ends and the sunshine covered beaches are full of visitors year round. This beautiful 1967 Triumph built by Frank Girod aka @60panheadfrank was named 'Endless Summer' and it's not too hard to figure out why.
Jared Weems of @weemsmotorco.tampa eats, sleeps and breathes all things 'Triumph'. When he was asked this year to be a Born Free invited builder, this prominent YouTube personality, Bike Builder, Father, Husband and all around great guy saw it only fitting to build a completely radical 1956 drag inspired Triumph Chopper named the '56'. Named in honor of his father, who was born in 1956.
Chopper Builder Drew Cemer of @freakshowfab has garnered quite a reputation in the industry for creating beautiful throwback builds that look like they came straight out of the 70s to manufacturing one off amazing custom parts made by hand. While most of his builds may be based on HD platforms, Drew has been known to create some beautiful Triumphs as well.
They say that 'it's not about the destination, it's about the journey' and they may hold true. Choppergent Vol.03 features a not so typical photo essay of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in that most of the images were taken on the journey to Sturgis rather than the destination.

Choppergent is more than your typical motorcycle magazine in that it not only features beautiful bikes, woman and unique travel destinations. You can add World Class Artist to the mix as well. Case in point, Choppergent Vol03 Featured Artist is none other than 'artist extraordinaire' Darren McKeag of @mckeagart. Based out of Iowa, his beautifully busy work is instantly recognizable. Not alone is Darren a Master Tattoo Artist, but he's pretty much mastered anything he can get his hands on creatively from tattoos, to painting to airbrushing and even stained-glass work!
This volume’s cover features rider and model, Kourtney Michelle looking great aboard a beautiful white 1959 Pre-Unit Triumph aptly named ‘Snowblind’ built by Jeff Lovelady in St.Petersberg, FL. You can purchase your copy of Volume 03, as well as previous copies here, and be sure to follow Choppergent on Instagram and you can see even more images and artist features on the website www.choppergent.com.
Please help me welcome ChopperGent to our family. I'm looking forward to working with the ever-talented Erick Runyon as I've admired his photography for many years. I consider it a privilege to support him and ChopperGent Magazine!
