CC member and roving reporter-at-large Mike Deutsch took off like an international playboy last summer. He went to hang out with some motorcycle enthusiasts that run a shop called Rat Bike Services in Como, Italy. This modded Sporto belongs to a friend of that shop named Fabio. Here's Mike's story:
I Don't know Fabio too well but I do know he's got the cleanest Sportster I've seen in a long time. Mean brakes, Screamin' Eagle heads and clutch, killer one-off seat, sano paint, chain drive and a 42mm Mikuni make this bike scream! Tiziano of Rat Bike Service fabbed the exhaust and helped Fabio get everything dialed in. The result is a classy scoot with get-up-and-go to boot! In the land of Ducatis and Moto GP, riding a stock Sportster isn't even an option. Fabio proves with a little bit of work and some help from friends, air-cooled V-twins from America can give those Ducs a run for their money any day of the week, son!
