I've covered the Brooklyn Invitational for ChopCult for many years. Those of you not familiar with this East Coast event, the Invitational is the annual custom bike show held at Root Studios in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. As you can see from the pictures, the bikes inside the professional photography studio/event space are all one-of-a-kind; handbuilt machines worthy of this gallery. The main studio features the invited builder bikes displayed as works of art, carefully placed and lit to show their finest details. This year, custom-painted tanks were displayed among the bikes. As with the bikes, the tanks look so much better in person than any of the 2” pictures on my Instagram feed. One of the adjacent rooms served as a vendor hall and tattoo studio. The third area of the event space served as the music venue, featuring live bands that started later in the day and eventually closed out the show.

Over the years, the variety of custom built bikes in the show has grown. Between that and the typical large attendance, the bikes parked outside can be as badass as the collection inside the trendy studio.
Be sure to watch Brooklyn Invitational's website for updates on this year's event!
