After months of promotion, we’ve made it to the home stretch and Born-Free 6 is finally here. The adrenaline is at an all-time high for the Invited Builders to complete their builds and get their bikes running. Each of the 26 Invited Builders has been evolving his business for years, in the hopes that one day his hard work would pay off. Starting on June 28, you will be able to see what hard work and determination look like.
Please take a moment and meet some of the Invited Builders.
Over the years, I’ve watched Mike Davis and Grant Peterson work tirelessly to create and improve Born-Free. Born-Free has become the premier show in California for this generation and the next. It’s basically our little Sturgis, minus the circus that is Sturgis. Born-Free has opened the doors for garage builders, independent businesses, artists and craftsmen to showcase their talents and wares. Born-Free is a successful event that gives back to each one of us. Every brand on location has the potential to attain new clientele, followers and sales. Every bike builder in the crowd has the potential to be chosen for one of 18 awards and the almighty Best of Show award. The winner of the Best of Show will also win a trip to Mooneyes HRCS in Japan with their bike in December. Two lucky ticket holders in attendance will have the opportunity to choose one of 12 Invited Builders built or the custom 1947 Knucklehead built by Small City Cycles. See folks, we all have the opportunity to win and grow. What other event provides that kind of service? Answer: none!
It’s been a pleasure sponsoring Born-Free and I would like to thank Mike, Grant and Born Free staff in advance for their time and help.

Ride safe, we'll see you next weekend!
