I like the looks, but mainly, my first bike was a 1976 CB750. I just liked the bike for it's reliability and decided to chop one. Also, hondachopper.com let me see some cool examples of what was possible.

Because I love my Hondas. You can't beat the reliability of them and they just look awesome chopped. The availability of cheap parts is a bonus too. I could have built 4 cb choppers for what I got wrapped up in my damn Harley.

I did cause I got tired of my cookie cutter Harley and needed a hard change. CB750's just go and they go hard and not everyone has one or understands them.

I love the way they look, parts are readily available and they're fairly cheap! I'm just a sucker for old Hondas, when it comes down to it.

Most people don't give enough credit to the CB750's, in the 70's chopper magazines half the bikes were CB750's. I wanted to build a 70's style bike yet standout and be different, you can do that with a Honda. Its not just another Harley.

Stock honda of the 70s are the classic M/C look. The bad ass big 4 block visually beats anything out there. And as Laced says, when I think of 'chopper' I think of a 70s chopped cb. The seem to want to run, which is more than I can say of some other brands. Funny, I've owned harleys and was still jealous of Honda guys for their CBs. The leap over just made sense...
