Yes but it looks like the back of that seat rests up against that fender that's mounted to your swing arm, that now is going to move since you took the strut out. Are you just going to have it slapping the back of your seat every time you hit a bump?

Huh, we'll unless I'm missing something, the 650 must have a magical swim arm then if it can somehow absorb bumps without moving.

Not sure what a "J-slam" is but that's all you had to say when Greedyg asked. Instead you leave vague and super douchy responses like "It works like a stock seat" when it clearly doesn't.

Tuesday - the J slam is just relocating the front shock mount to lower the ass end. As far as working like a stock seat, I dont know about you but my stock seat had a tab on the front and did not just slide back and forth with the movement of the swing arm. Good luck with that FatKat -
But at least we have a new standard -
the "VAGUE AND SUPER DOUCHY SEAT MOD"

Was the strut just pipe with bushing bungs welded on each end? Do you have pics of the strut? I'm leaning towards strutting my bike after i replace the final drive that way i dont have to mess with stripping the pinion gear teeth off again. Anyone else strutted their V?
