    Default Truimph speedmaster build..

got an 07 triumph speedmaster that i'm trying to personalize.. I only got the bike cause the deal was so good.. ($4,000 with 900 miles) anyway the bike rides great but I hate the look of it.. So far I have lower the front 2 inches, the rear 2.5 inches, biltwell lowdrags, and powdercoated all the chrome wet black and ceramic coated the bub pipes black.. here is how she sits now..

I just ordered joker machine controls, internal throttle, sportster master cylinder.. I scored a early america hub on ebay so I can lace my own wheels...

here is the current issue.. I really like the ZERO ENG. bikes.. the stance is just mean looking.. i'm planing on front and rear 16inch wheels with a 500 tire. my rear fender is 9 inches wide and i think it's going to look to big with a 500 tire... what can I do to make everything flow together... i want to run a vintage style tire and 500 (130mm) is the widest I can find. the stock rear is a 170mm and going to a thinner fender is going to be a pain in the ass with the fender struts. any ideas???

I think a new seat would go a long way. Maybe a solo seat or a less wide custom seat with a real thin pad. A smaller head light would be tits.

Your bike looks great and is definitely on it's way. The solo seat will help a lot. A buddy of mine has a pretty sweet one. I'll try to post some pics.

Update!!! I been ordering so many parts I feel my wallet is going to burst into flames. I ordered a custom frame from CycleOne 2 months ago. I got these pics today and it should be shipped by monday. ( 20 june) I'm hope to update this thread daily. I have 95% of my parts sitting in my condo, so once I get the frame it's full throttle..

as far as I know what i'm doing hasn't been done yet... the frame specs are custom to me, the speedmasters are still fairly new. the bike will be low and mean. stay tuned...

man I feel like your first post was a joke at this point cause it seems like you know exactly what you want to do with this bike. I'm really looking forward to the outcome.

Bob the rear and put a solo seat on it and that thing would be a hell of a bike.

Don't skimp on the updates. I have yet to see a "new Bonneville" hard tail that I thought looked right, you may be well on the way to being the first though.

first question... can I install the neck cups before the frame is painted. I got some internal stops and I need to drill into the neck.
