Hello, been a long time lurker on here. Finally decided to make an account and introduce myself so I can hopefully pick the brains of the folks around here. I'm from TN and started on a Honda Shadow 750, then snagged a Shadow 600 that I bobbed out and ride constantly, and just added an 81 FXEF to the stable.

New account, not sure why I couldn't log in with my old one, don't think I pissed anyone off...

Anyways, names Grey, from Albuquerque, NM. Rolling a garage built 78 that I think is pretty cool.

A little late in life but here I am. Name is Jim, I'm from the place between two rivers, Iowa, (and no we don't grow potatoes, that's the other Iowa). Been riding since I was 14, currently 68 years old. Took a 20 year break, as that's how life goes. I've been retired 15 years. Had to take another break due to neck issues and messed up meds to fix. Now I'm back (I hope) bought a piece of shit Big Mike chopper 2003 with 6100 miles. I'm not bike mechanic by no means but I tinker and sometimes I fix stuff. I'm not afraid to ask for info, and I will. Glad to read all the great stuff on here.Click image for larger version.

Lurked but first time bobber owner and poster. Yamaha guy here..have 8 Yamahas in the garage and just bought a bobber build from this forum (Luky's bobber powered by a Yamaha Vtwin 1700cc Road Star motor...18 page build on the Japanese section). I plan on doing my own bobber with a Road Star or maybe one of my 1979 XS1100 Specials.

Greetings all. I'm Josh. Live in the Midwest (St Louis area). Born in mid-70's, lived my whole life in biker culture, specifically H-D, through the "good ole days" of the 80's, and survived the transition and stupidness of the "Harley Culture" of the 90's. First bike was a 1975 Sportster, completely stock chassis configuration, which was also my old man's first bike (original owner...still have it). Did my first build in my early 20's (Evo Softail - still own it, set as profile pic). Other than that, I'm a cliche. Marriage, kids and family life sucked up all my time and money. Kids got older, my financial situation improved over the years, decided I like riding more than wrenching, and ended up spoiled by windshields, floorboards, FL suspension and seats, and EFI.

Bitten by the bug a while back, and became obsessed with resurrecting my Softail from the dead and making it breathe fire again. Stumbled on this site and these forums a while back while searching something out for Project Lazarus.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading, and thanks for having me!
