Ride will be 95 mile poopoo platter of city, twisties, country, desert and even a casino stop. Ride will take about 2 hrs to get there but on the way home you can hit the 8 freeway and knock a good 30 minutes plus off the ride. 3 miles of the ride in to the camp ground is on a manicured dirt road so dont freak out. The camp site is remote but has some ammenties.

    Map of ride

Lark Canyon Campground is a year-round facility with 15 developed campsites. Fire rings, tables, water (not tested safe for drinking), and six vault toilets are found in the campground. Group camping sites are available. The majority of visits occur in the late spring, summer, and fall. Occasionally, special events such as motorcycle trails events will take place in the OHV area. Spectators are welcome, but please obey all special event signs.

More info to follow so stay tuned!

    Things to know:
The camp ground is remote down a 5 mile fire road. There are no stores withing 50 miles and the closest gas station is 15 miles away. They sell beer and have a small variety of foods and snacks but one does have a Subway in it.

We will have burgers and dogs and chips for those who confirm they are coming. We only ask you bring a 6 pack of beer to toss in the communty beer cooler.

Kick ass ride, camping and drinking what more could yo ask for!

Let me know what I can bring. Not sure how good I'm going to be moving by then, or if I'm even going to be able to drive. It's times like these that I'm mad about having the manual transmission.

Were ready just counting down until we get our kneeze in the Breeze! Rev will be back on the road soon and Kukui to follow I hope!
I have had 24 people confirm they are coming and thats a decent crew for this early! The ride is bitchen and the camping area sit at the top of the mountain ridge over looking the desert! You can see from Octillo Wells all the way out to El Centro!
There are working restrooms plenty of trees and contained fire pits. I have a few buddies staying out there Friday night to save the camp spots and I will be going out Friday as well to drop stuff off for the camp out.

I gawd damned agree - I'm pissed I haven't gone to one yet!
Oh, I plan on making up for it at the next one - I'm bringing beer, boots and my A game biotches...

I may be living in Redding by then, but a simple 11 hour or so ride to get down to it will definitely be in order. These are going to be on my to do list forever.
