Default Bratty CB350F (UPDATE: PAGE 6)

Howdy guys, this is my newly bratty cb350f (yes, the enormous 4 cyl). I am a full time law student with little money and no garage.

Paint and polish are not my thing, so this thing will likely never get a full paintjob and will likely stay just as dirty as it is right now

Bought it on CL for 500 bucks, and messed with it some and rode it like this for a while:

Got bored with the 'cafe' nonsense after a while and decided its time for a change so i bought a $100 welder and went a little crazy.

    Whats done now:
-19" drum brake cl360 front wheel
    - Lowbrow "axed" tank
    -11.5" shocks
-4" tractor headlight in which I mounted nuetral/oil press. lights and a push/pull headlight switch
-mt90 double whitewall rear tire, stock hub laced to 16x3.5 motoguzzi rim
-generic harley coils, and cloth covered plug wires
    -homemade skinny handlebars
    -foot clutch from scratch
-jockey shift made from my old brake pedal
    -seat pan and upholstery
    -license plate bracket
-tail light made from old brass lamp pieces
-battery/electrics box from some 5" pvc pipes
-made a new wiring harness (no turn sigs, no starter solenoid, no high beam, no kill switch, moved ignition under the seat, etc)
    -hand painted tank mural

here you can see my electronics box. Got the ignition key right there and the black and red posts are where i wired it so I can hook the battery up to my trickle charger without having to open up the box.

and some cell phone pics of my latest addition of a mural. subject matter: unicorn puking a rainbow.

How you like it? I think I've got some sort of postpartum depression or something because after finally finishing her, all i want to do is throw her off a cliff and start an XS project

The rat cafe was cool but love where you are heading with the new look. Not sure I'm manly enough for a unicorn on my tank so props to ya there!

Nice 350F!! Got one out in the garage just sitting there collecting dust. Your bike makes me want to get out there and get to work!

I think its cool cause its different... most people wouldn't think to use a 4 cylinder to build a brat bike. Look at it this way... if it were a 650 then you would have what alot of people have allready built

Yeeaa looking back now I kinda wish I'd hard-tailed it instead of going brat. It would've been a hell of a lot easier I bet. I really love the look of a clean rigid 650... I think that'll be my next project.

fuck paul jr and the unicorn he rode in on man! do some flake or just a simple paint scheme. that thing don't need all that much to take it to the next level. if anything, just think that a simple paint job will attract alot more buyers than a fucking gay my little pony if you ever wanted to make a buck with it........

the problem i have with fresh paint is that the rest of the bike is dirty, unfinished, or otherwise shitty, so if i do a nice paintjob I'm just setting myself up for loads more work. Plus I havent paid anyone else to do any other work on it and i certainly cant afford to have somebody spray it.. but who know I was thinking about doing just a heavy gold metalflake one day.

Loving the bike man. I'd buy the unicorn! Way to be original.
Where'd you pick up the rear tire on that thing and what brand and model is it?

Its a cheapy Shinko "Classic" double whitewall. The size is MT90-16, and I bought it from JC Whitney, when they were offering free shipping, for 100 bucks.

VERY NICE! don't talk shit on your "ratty brat" man, I have seen WAY worse. This one has the stance, so no matter how ratty YOU think it is . . . it's got the look. Appreciate your work!!!
