Assembly begins on the 78 XS400

I picked this 78 Xs400 up awhile ago from the side of some dudes house.......ill post the haggered pic of what she looked like before when i find it. I stripped the bike down and let her tell me what she wanted to look like, cut a few things, welded a few more and sent it out for color. Just got the parts back from powder and so the assembly begins.......



Got alot of the parts powdered......satin black and gunmetal grey






Here she is in a roller, engine install is next.

ok so finished up with pipe wrap, started on electrical and added the fresh gold chain.

Just waiting on tank and seat to be finished and getting mx controls for the bars next.

got busy with a few other things but here's the progress on the ol girl.
.........Only need steel braided brake lines, Yz front master cylinder, seat covered, paint the Xs360 tank, install Xs650 headlight and connect mini battery and bikes done
