Little By Little...
So I had a couple hours to spare today and got to work on the bike.
Let the de-cluttering begin!
Went through the bucket and sorted it out and labeled all the wires so I know what they go to.
Even though I will probably be tearing it all out anyway, it makes me feel better having them all organized.
And then its gone. Glad I got it done though, it was a productive night seeing how I havent done anything in quite a bit.Last edited by lobstermobster; 11-01-2009 at 11:41 PM. Reason: trying to get these damn pictures working

I took my swing arm to a welder and just said I need this extended 3 3/4 inches, cost me 75 bucks and it's been a runner now for 7 years. Don't tell 'em it's for a bike....that's the key, I believe.

i am doing pretty much the same thing to my kz, as of yet i have cut the ass off mine in the same place and cut the stock tank up. it makes an awesome shaped tank if you take out a pie wedge from about 3.5 inches in the back up to a point at the front. ill try and post some pics of it tonight.
it's seeming to take a life of it's own.
i think i need to stop looking at pictures of other peoples bikes.
too many people doing too many cool things

I just want as little wires as possible. headlight, taillight. im putting the ignition key switch, on/off, and light switch down below in the seat area.

dudes I got the skinned down version wiring harness diagram, super simple and eliminates the starter all together , which is good for you rock lobster mobster because its all bla bla bla anyway right. The only thing is I made it in a pdf file so I cant post on here. I actually did a tw opiece removing the harness and skinning it down. then redoing it for simplicity with eliminating all the stuff other than whats neccesary.
