Thanks, I am not going to do all the work on it as I don't have power to my garage yet. I do have an extension cord for light and 110v tools. I talked it over with Eric at Toxic Choppers he is going to try and put a wave washer underneath to give it a slight resistance so it will feel like a working dial. I do have some extension cords ran so I can do limited work out there. I will concentrate on hand work.

Yeah I wanted an Anvil, Get a load of the prices they want.
        I gotta shoe anvil.
Triple sided. Best 5notes I've ever spent.
Can be held in the vice and each side has different angles.
Great for shaping smaller and thin pieces of material.
I'll put a pic up on my blog so I won't clutter your thread up and you know what I'm talking about.

Here is some more on the anvil. I also purchased some engraving tools. I will be practicing before I attempt any bike parts.

Still no progress on the bike. It is next in line I am modifying my rocker nuts for it. I made another points cover for Kev in the UK. I am just finishing it up. As soon as my bike is getting progress I will update. I did get a lathe mill combo to help move things along. I hope I can get the bike going really soon!

Kev's points cover, No visible screws.

                      Finally on the lift

My bike is on the lift for the first time, I always work from the floor in my garage. Eric had an open lift and has allowed me to go in and work on the bike. I modified some of my rocker nuts for it. I also took off the forward controls and will make some. I was not happy with having to buy a part just because I did not have the tools to make them so with Erics help and tools I can do what I originally planned.

Sorry for these pictures, my camera is on it's way out!

Here is another bad pick of the new rocker nuts.

I did some work on the motor mounts, Mike your spacers worked great once I figured out what I was doing! I also did some modification to the Maytag heat shield, we made a checklist to finish and hopefully will get to checking items off daily! I can only work three days a week since I watch my girl on the others.

The Good, The Bad, The Scary!!!

                        The Good

I have the final list made up and I am checking things off! I also shit canned the purchased forward controls and will be making some. I could not deal with having that one part that was not built!

                        The Bad

When I started to finish the fender mounts I ran into a problem. When I started the build i made a cheapo frame jig and my rear tire is almost 1 degree off. So down to bare frame, we will jig it properly and get everything 100%

Here is the frame I cut out my axle adjuster plates and will weld new ones in correctly so it will handle like it should.

                        The Scary!

This bike has to be finished in 23 days or so to get it on the road to born free!!!!

Cleaning up the frame for finish welding. I also cut off the mounts for the forwards. I will probably start building some from here.

I have a better picture of the rocker nuts as well. My bikes are different coins, but it is the same idea. Thanks Tony.

                                Thanks NHMike, me either!
Oldstf Mike I finally got your brass kit installed and I needed a little break up on the rockers! I went with real US currency so yes they are actually worth something!!! Thanks for your parts man they are well thought out and worked great. I am still thinking about the inline springer tree, but I don't think it's in the budget before the end of the month.
