My Introduction, My 2nd bike, But My 1st Bob/Chop Project 78'

Bikes coming along man, and yea i can second the front brakes sucking on the cb550 lol. I have one on mine but I use the rear brake mostly and the front when extra stopping power is needed, I think having them cross drilled will help, theres a guy on the SOHC forum that does them for about 65 bucks i think, I'll have to look, he does wonderful work from what I've seen.

Updates... I ended up not adding the extra clear to it. the frame is done (satin black) the tank is drying and everything else is pretty much mounted...

I'm seriously lovin the pipes! The whole bike has a nice look to it but those pipes are definately sweet!

Threw some drag bars on for now.

Wow, its been to Long! So i Threw the drag bars on, clean'd her up a bit more, and Traded her.









Traded for a 4x4 1990 Dodge Ram w a Lot of Work done... But Needing Body work pretty bad!

Well so far the blinkers, reflectors, stock plate mount and a few un needed things have been removed. It's "Hardtail'd" aka shock was removed and solid mount installed. shaved seats, and mini apes. some aftermarket grips and the baffles have been pulled out. License plate is zip tied on. (not me).

I Added a 78 CB Mirror to it, hahaha.

I'm gonna ride it out the rest of what i can this season.

~I have 2 Brand New Tires:
Rear - Dunlop elite G/T K491 (White Letter) 150/90-15
Front - Cheng Shin 100/90-19
~I have a Buddy local that Does Leather Work of sorts... I'm gonna Have him Wrap and work out some Seats for me.
~She has the "Dual Carb Set up" so i'm gonna pull the intake and run 2x 50mm 2" Filters unter the tank and clean up that area.
~Gonna Chop the Exhaust at the Mufflers and Build My Own... Thing.
~The Carbs Need a Good Cleaning and i figure if im gonna mess w them i might as well set it up w/ the New "My Style Exhaust", New filters, and re-jet em while im in there.

~I like the tank to be honest, Just not the big SHADOW across the side so a repaint is in the plans.
~Im gonna look into chopping the rear up and elimination of the fiberglass butt shield , hahaha. i want a nice... Fat... Round... Shorter.... Rear Fender to fit the tire nice and go w the big boy tank... But i wanna ride a passanger and gonna make a sissy bar for the ladies
