      Looking for ideas

First post... looking for ideas for my XV 535. So far the only thing I've done to the thing is raised the tank by about 2". I've been considering replacing the shocks with struts and the stock saddle with something like the Rich Phillips Snub Nose solo seat (seen here: http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/p2207/...her-solo-seat/)
Any ideas would really be appreciated.

                      xv250 bobber inspired build

just built a solo seat with %100 repurposed items (flat broke, bored, and wanted a fun way to spend a day off).

that's the overall theme of the bike, a bobber build on a budget. what you see only ran me about $300, the rest was just time spent scrapping, salvaging, sanding, painting, and as much cheap paint and extra parts as i could get my facking hands on. this summer i can finally put a proper shop together, and plan on dropping a new set of straight pipes on it, a new fender, and reworking as much of the stock options as i have time to.

Can we get a bump? I just picked up a 92 xv750 and am looking at doing quite a bit to it. There are some beautiful bikes on here.

@fatload2: If you're still out there, I just looked at an 85 Virago today. I'm in the US and the seller told me it was a 750 -- but I thought they only imported the 700 into the US in that year?

                              If it's an 85 then it's a 700.
