A little update on the '85 I'm doing.

Not sure on which tank yet.The stock one has all the fuel fittings for the fuel pump.
Might make a trike out of it for a friend that can't do 2 wheels anymore.

Here's mine again. A little further along but still far from done. This was the first time I pushed it out into the sunlight.

It's pretty easy. I had to make a new mount for the front and "clearance" the underside at one spot with a hammer. The back bolts on in the stock location.

Good seeing more Viragos, my XV700 is almost mechanically sound but pretty much bone stock. I may just leave it that way and ride the hell out of it while working on the other project.

Was curious about some apes though and those Ive seen in here look dam good. Xmajasteex or Stubsy assuming you needed to extend cables and such did you build or buy?

Mikesova - How tall are your window bars?

BTW Xmajasteex - That green w whitewalls is the shit, you get em and the engine parts powder coated?

Did you use a seat hinge? Is it help on by the bolt for the gas tank? I'm looking at putting a solo seat on my '86 1100 and so far all I seem to be able to find are the Biltwell weld on ones.

Mine are 6" rise, but I believe I could have gone taller. I got them from Bob's Used Motorcycle Parts in AZ.

                                Cool thanks for the info.

Reason I ask theres a set of BiltWell Window bars in my area, they have about a 9 in height. If its a no good they can always sit on the shelf til the other project is ready.
