Glad you like the stickers
We've been pretty slammed at work all week so we haven't worked on the bike much. I think Boots is going to this weekend.

I am not planning on running this tank so it made its way on to the wall and will probably stay there for a while but it was really cool to see all the psychadelic prisms and lightning bolts and shit. Makes me wonder how stoned the original build was.
I would run it with the old paint and all... some history there.. very cool.

Pretty cool that you were able to save the tank's original paint. Kinda reminded me that one of the original Captain America bikes was stolen just before the movie (Easy Rider) was completed. Assuming the bike was "parted", some dude is probably riding around with the original tank, with the original paint, covered up by someone else's paint. Wouldn't that be a trip finding that tank!

Good luck on the build. it is looking great so far!

I picked up a tank and a fender from a swap this weekend so the ball is back rolling. When you live a million miles away from anything cool projects take time and I'd rather it take me a decade and be happy with it then rush it on the road for street cred. I'll post some pictures of the stuff right away here.

here's the new tank and fender I picked up this weekend. I also did my taxes so I will be putting new shoes on her right quick. Now that I have a tank that I want to run I can get back to work on the rest of the aesthetic stuff

too sick to strip and repaint. it sits up in the corner of the CBCS shop. I just can't get down with a red bike.

yeah that thing is righteous. I think I am gonna go white. I inherited a little paasche airbrush set up so I am assuming there will be lots of psychadelic shit going on but the bike will be mostly white. Brrrrrr White Lightening!
