Hey everyone I thought I would share my recent find. Its a 1968 BSA lightening, garage built in the mid-seventies up here in the arctic. It had sat in a dudes living room for the past fifteen years til he needed to free up some space. Needless to say it needs alot of work but living in the tundra there isn't much more you could ask for in a winter project.

That's fucking SWEET! That and snow bunnies are the only two reasons I would deal with that kind of bullshit weather.

Maybe.

What an incredible find. Nothing like working on a chop to keep you dreaming of summer. Sweet, soft warm night air flowing past, her arms wrapped around your waist and those firm titiies against yer back, the motor purring with the growl of a contented lion and the...where was I ?

Nice fuckin' bike, you lucky bastard!

Shacknasty, you really should think about writing a romance novel or at least some stories for Hustler.

We finally got 'er fully disassembled tonight, started chippin' away at the forty pounds of bondo. Photos as soon as I come down from inhaling all those psychadelic paint chips.

between the actual frame and the moldings the original builder added there is a valley of bondo...

and some vile welds...

Throughout the frame there is an abundance of bondo but luckily only a couple suspect welds.

this afternoon we are takin 'er down to work to torch out the rest of the bondo, flapdisk the rest of the paint, grind off some useless shit and hopefully fix up some of those sketchy welds . We should at least have it down to bare metal by dinner time.
