In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit *
A bank robbery in Hanoi, Vietnam, which they were in fact ordered to do, but the man who gave them the order was killed. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... the Haifley Brothers.

First of all, thanks for having us. The Haifley Brothers company consists of Kelly and Doug Haifley(brothers), Mandy the hand stitch master, Court the super welder, and Trapper the help around the shop guy. The brothers have been building, riding, driving hot rods and motorcycles for the better part of their lives and turned the skills they developed over the years into a business. We are currently producing Bates inspired solo seats and p-pads. All seats and pads are hand built in the shop by us. Seat construction includes chrome plated 16ga steel pans, high density foam, top grain leather covers and stainless steel mounting hardware. The pillion pads have a thick leather base, high density foam cut to conform to the shape of your fender and the same top grain leather cover that is stitched by hand to its base. In addition to our production seats we also build and cover customs seats to your specs. Apart from the upholstery end of the business we also offer general fabrication and motorcycle frame services including swingarm to rigid conversion, frame repair, and neck stretching and raking. We strive to provide the highest quality craftsmanship and service for every customer so if you ever need a new seat, p-pad, or hardtail built, drop us a line. Thanks again to the Chop Cult fellas and all of you Culters that stopped by to take a look.

    Default New Bates style p-pad

We've been working on new p-pad styles, this one is inspired by a vintage Bates pillion. Six pleat leather tuck and roll, overall dimensions are 9"L x 5"W, now in stock and ready to ship.

Got my 2" Bates seat in the mail the other day and quite frankly its a thing of beauty. My only issue with it, it looks so nice it makes the rest of the bike look cheap.

I have a Haifley Bros seat and pillion on my Panhead, they are super nice, couldn't be happier. Met Kelly Haifley on the El Diablo Run and he is a real nice guy, and funny too. I am a dick and was too drunk the first night we met and didn't remember, but I remembered the second time!!!

Figured I'd give the Haifley's some love. They do ALOT more than just seats. All pics stolen from their blog: http://haifleybros.blogspot.com/

I just got the Haifley Bros to hardtail two Harley 4 speed frames for me. One 1966 and one 1982. Wow, awesome craftsmanship and an unbelievably quick turn around. Great communication, no waiting and wondering how your stuff is coming along.

A great price and excellent service, which is hard to find these days, but that's what I got from Doug at Haifley Bros.

Can't say enough good stuff about the Haifley Bros! They are currently doing some fab work on my fatboy and I'm extremely impressed with the work they do. I dropped the bike off on Tuesday and on Friday I stopped by and all the mounting was done and Doug went over his idea of using the bates style seat and p-pad and can't wait or to see if all finished. Extremely cool guys and very friendly. Support these guys!

Well it seems like we should give a little update on what we have going on in the shop these days. We have been busy with our signature Bates style seats as well as building and covering custom king and queens, cobras, and clown shoes. In addition to the seat work we are now offering a weld on shovelhead hardtail kit, and a universal sissy bar kit for your rigid chopper that are ready to ship. Also, we just got some shop tees and hats printed up. And last but not least, we are on the home stretch on our Evo Sportster hardtail kits. The final kits will available with a whole pile of package options including fender, seat, sissy bar, and battery tray variations. Stay tuned to our blog, instagram feed, and here on Chop Cult for updates on those kits. Now we've got to get back to work... Blog Big Cartel

i bought a shovelhead hardtail from these guys and it's a top notch piece along with their customer service. had to wait awhile for it to show up since i ordered right before the holidays and they were waiting on the castings to arrive, which doug told me that up front. their install instructions make it a very easy job.

i wouldn't hesitate to do business with these guys anytime. thanks again to doug and the crew!

Thanks for the good words and support, Josh. And thanks to all of you out there that have liked what we do and shown your support and patronage. We just launched our all new website featuring our Evo Sporty hardtail kits from the basic bare frame section, to the full-tilt Deluxe kit that includes the hardtail, oil bag, battery tray, rear caliper stay (00-03), rear fender, sissy bar, and your choice of four seat styles. I am interested in the clown shoe seat. I have a '94 Sporty and I am looking for a seat with a high back so I can relax on long rides. Do these seats fit the stock mount of the '94 Sportster?
