I made a new set of bars for it, finished the body work on the tank and tail, and put the new shocks on. Now I'm waiting on tires that are back ordered. I'm going over to my friends house this week to talk to him about the paint.

Thanks buddy. I saw that metal work on the seat and shat myself, so now I have a nasty-ass mess to clean up. Thanks.

That shit is titties! I'm building a '79 GS750 cafe (look for a thread soon) and was wondering what to do about the seat and tail light. Yours is lookin' mighty nice. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks for the comments guys. I finally got the tires and painted the wheels. should be mounting them up next week so I will at least have a roller. Also talked to my buddy about painting the tins and covering the seat. Hopefully we will be painting in a week or two.

Got the tires mounted and cleaned and painted all the small parts. Got the wheels back on so I finally can roll it around. Then my cousin came over later on and we put the motor back in. It's really starting to look like a bike again.

headlight mounting bracket is dope dude. I was trying to figure out how to use those huge mounting points on the top tree.

Put some more parts on the bike today and found a bunch of stuff I still needed to clean and paint. Ordered some more parts and made a plate/ tail light mount.

Sneak peak at the paint. It's black with and gold with some pearl over top.It turns dark blue in the sun. Pinstriper is supposed to outline the gold this week just don't know what color yet. Any input? I'm thinking something bright.

I'd just go white, but I'm not a fan of technicolor paint jobs. Call me boring!

Got the tins back from the pin striper. told him to go with a blue he thought would look good. I'm very happy how they turned out.

I think a 78?? gs1000. The front fits right on but for the rear you have swap the bearings from the 550 wheel and use the 550 sproket carrier.
