Here is a build that a friend of mine is doing. He is also helping with my build (Black Sheep xs650). He doesnt have a computer so i told him i would post a few pic. He likes to be different. Once you see the pics, you will know what i mean.
He is running a 23" on the front. He made the tanks from an old sporty tank i gave him. He turned the fork lowers. There wont be much on the bike that he doesnt make or modify.
i dig sporty tanks that have been chopped skinny like that, been thinking of doing one for my shovel
Those tires look wicked on there. Definitely going to be a unique scoot.
skinny tank, skinny fuckin bike~! knobbies are a nice touch, cant wait to see it finished.
Please tell your friend to buy a computer and start posting pictures of his build. This thing is off to a GREAT start.
is that a stock frame that has just been hardtailed? i really like the direction of this bike. the 23" wheel up front is awesome....great stance...
Took some more pics today. He has pretty much finished his mids. He bought the BMX pegs and made about everything else, even the brass touches. Toe shifter was just on there to move the bike around but he is thinking about just bending the lever straight and using it as the hand shift.
the mids look good. I've always liked the BMX flare on these builds.... definitely looks good
There is so much right going on with this bike. So stoked to see it finished. the motocross pegs look mean and I like the design of the mids. Looks better then a store bought set of billet forwards.
Progress on his bike. He chopped the hell out of a big ass fender and mounted it and made his struts. Check out the difference in a 21" and 23" tire.
bump bump bump......how goes this build? i love that frame so i have been keeping an eye out for any updates....
I will be posting some more pics for him on Sunday hopefully. He has gotten alot done on the bike so there will be plenty of pics.
i for one would like to thank you for being this dudes friend and posting pics of his work.he obviously has some skill and a helluva eye for lines.
keep us posted,
