so were does the new oil tank go? or should i just wait patiently for the pics to come?? its definetly refreshing to see something different done with a sportster! looks fun as shit, like others have said the welding helmet hasnt really grown on me at all, but like youve said who cares? hahaaha

Its an aluminum tank thats getting put low down on the front downtubes, to get the weight forward and low.

I really like the black. Plus its the first bike I've had in a long time with a real paintjob, so I'm not in any rush to change that.

LOL you guys are way too good to me, I'm just a hack.

there is a reason I mostly work with metal-
because fiberglass absolutely sucks ass. I told myself I could easily make my new battery box out of fiberglass. What a fucking disaster.

somewhere I read that mat was so much easier to work with than cloth- what a huge lie that is. It is so hard to get mat to lay down smooth when all the fibers keep sticking to the resin brush.
from now on its all steel or aluminum.
fiberglass can go fuck itself.

Oh there were more, trust me! I axed the fiberglass container this morning and just built one out of steel. I'll weld it today and put up some pics.
