Wife wanted yellow and black. I just threw this paint on so I can start the titling process with the IL DMV.

Ditched the Sporty tank for a Lowbrow PNut tank. We had a baby at the end of October and I've made ZERO progress since.

Figured I'd catch this thread up a bit. I took a week of vacation and made the big push to get it put back together.
Shaved the forks down:

Cleaned up the engine a bit:

Droid 2 GPS/Speedometer:

Made a new electrics box to replace the boring TC Bros tube:

Painted frame and wheels with Eastwood Chassis Black:

And a bunch of other misc parts:

New tires mounted and onto a rolling chassis:

Electrics wired up with a PC-8 from Eastern Beaver and a USB port to run the Droid 2:

Tank and fender mocked up on the rolling chassis:

The fun of body work:

Primer:

Paint is Hot Rod Flatz Copper Pearl:

Glad to see you are back at it. I know new borns can take up alot of time. I was going to go the Paughco route until Larry Pierce at Garage Company Customs convinced me to let him tweak my stocker. Here's what happened:

And beginning mock up:

Pipes are wrapped and pretty much everything else is done. Need to paint the sissy bar, but I think I'll make another taller one for any longer trips.

That is a sweet build. You could probrably get that bike featured in a magazine if you sent in some pictures. Seriously, nice work.

Thanks, MTW. I may have to send some pics in. Who knows...

Tank is an old stretched tank for a Softail, I think. My buddy gave it to me and said do what you want with it. Cut 4" out of the front and 5" out of the rear and re-tunneled it.

I like the paint. Is it a flat finish? or does it have gloss?

Thanks, guys. Paint is pre-flattened. It's actually TCP Global's Hot Rod Flatz Copper Pearl.
