Well, I'm the proud new owner of this 1973 Ironhead chop. I traded the worry free world of push button starting on my '87 Sportster. It's not exactly in tip top shape...it has an issue with the kick starter. It seems to have a stripped gear in there somewhere. I'm excited/nervous about having this old scoot!
cool bike man.hope its not too fucked up mchanically.good luck.
love the look of the bike man, it'll be a fun bike. I have a '72 I'm building right now and can't wait to get it on the road again. From what I can tell these bikes tend to generate love/hate relationships, I know I hate mine already haha but I'd never give it up!
nice , hope everything works well for you , best of luck to ya on that sweet bike
WOW, great score man, I would fix it then ride the hell out of her, nice just the way it is!!!!!
Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to getting her running and down the road.
Is that the one from the Lake Martin area??? Sounds like You got a smokin' deal!!!
Checked it out on CL. French Kiss Custom paint from what I remember... I was gonna ride up on Sunday but it was too cold for that long of a ride... Pics are awesome... And congrats
woah! that rules. I thought that evo was really sweet looking, but this is a whole different cat.
Nice bike! I just did the kick start gear on the "Polished Turd". Not too hard to do. Will be a perfect bike once you have that done
Looks killer man.
If my '73 IH had a face, I'd punch that motherfucker in....good luck with yours.
