Alternative to PODS

I made these velocity stacks from delrin which open up to accept these k&n filters. They help in a couple ways: Inner carbs don't run leaner since no air blockage from outer pod and velocity stack mouth scoops air in like a fat kid scoops up chocolate ice cream.http://jpriderdesigns.blogspot.com

The outside carbs still suck in more air, the only way around it is bosting pressure with a turbo/super charger.

Not a bad set up though./

I am fortunate to have a cnc lathe at my disposal. I didn't want spend $42 each on k&n pods so I checked out their website and figured if I could get (2 ) dual throat filters on the same spacing as my carbs I would be home free and at $38 ea. But as my luck would have it I didn't find the right throat size. Then lightbulb! Velocity stacks made from delrin I have laying in the shop. I checked all possible interfences and bam a couple hours later they're done.
