Shaved the legs this past week at the house. Went from 2" seat springs to 4", keeps me in the saddle when I role on the throttle. Went to baby apes. Started scuffing all the chrome on the bike, until my fingers bled. I wrather the brushed look. Waiting on bearing for my 21" spool wheel.

There are a few who REALLY know their Shovelhead shit, some KNOW they KNOW and wear that like a king that we need to bow down to, others are more quiet in their knowledged ability...but overall, if you go there, be prepared to listen to a bunch of little boys jumping on the hate wagon if you speak out against one of their clicky members.....IT AIN'T THE CHOP CULT by far!
But you ARE correct...Certain members there CAN help you with ANYTHING Shovelhead as good as any place, better than most.

I've toyed around with frames before off of old bikes I had sitting around, but I've never actually built a bike from the ground up. I make my own bending jigs out of whatever i have laying around (pipe, old brake rotor), and bend using my torch. I initially pulled it down because the trans was leaking, chopped it while it was down, changed some seals on the trans, then started rebuilding. It's road worthy right now, but my trans is still leaking, BAD! You can see it on the frame in the first photo of this page. Oh well, I'll pull it down when I get a chance. Thanks for the compliment.Comment
