Thanks. Trying to sell them now and get some Z's. The lane splitters are great but difficult to be really agile. Highway riding is great though.,

The more and more I look at this thread the more it makes me want to pick up my step dad's Dyna that he just has sitting. But all the SOA fairings are killing me.

Those fairings and that specific style of bike were made popular by the Ventura Chapter of the Hells Angels MC long before the SOA television show even existed. They designed their bikes to ride hard, fast and for distance. They have been copied to a certain extent by the show yes, but that is an example of art imitating life. To each his own I suppose, but that is the ultimate dyna set-up in my very humble opinion. Function before form. But it just so happens that the ensuing form is one badass looking motorcycle.

And wheelie guy in the last shot is the same bike as the red flamed FXDX several shots prior. It was in Hot Bike magazine.

                      Thank you Shiftace and themaninblack.

my fairing doesn't do shit for wind deflection..but it's not what it's for. The light, risers and cables are pretty fugly so I like it for hiding all of that.

Here's mine. It's nothing too fancy. Just simple. I've rewired it, put a 21 up front and chopped off about 50 pounds. I want to put on some works suspension, build some pipes, make a new seat (similar to the old garage co seats), chop the fender a bit, new taillight and sissy bar and maybe do a foot clutch with a hand shift. We'll see. It's a super fun bike though and it rides real nice.
