Every single piece of wire is new as of last week and all the splices are good but I will check it. Is there a way to test the regulator?

I bought a 91 Suzuki VX800 Stator and the bolt pattern is to big. Can someone advise or put together a list of stators in use?

I have posted this list twice in this very thread. These are the stators that are the proper size, but not all of them have been tried and trued. I guess the suzuki one can be ruled out. I used a VF500 and I know it works so try that.

The BB Bikeshop site shows the G74 sizing 103/42/20 but the VX800 stator its far bigger, I saw your list and I appreciate it, I used it but I'm still on the hunt now.

            Here's another question:

My cover doesnt have the removeable timing plate. Does anyone have a quick method they used to establish timing marks?

I set the motor at full advance and used paint pens to make new timing marks, based on the measurement between the factory A____F__T marks.

is it just me or are these stators expensive now? I did an ebay search on all those stators listed and I couldn't find anything for less than $90.

                          am I doing something wrong?

welp, managed to piece together everything I need except for the banshee stator bracket adaptor (which I hope to make myself) and the total cost was $285.

I guess I'm happy with that, hopefully I won't have to purchase any more shit for this mod and it will work the first time.

                              Capacitor, battery, ???

                              Did the bike run before?
I had troubles with a mini battery. Wasn't charged enough and would fire the coils, I was only getting a few volts while running. I switched out to a 12v battery from rural king and rechecked all my connections and made sure everything had a good ground.

                              Runs like a champ now!

I think the battery was bad, may try another and something a bit different. ( I was thinking of trying to find a mini 12v battery that's comparable with a wall charger.) My trickle down couldn't save that mini triple I

Try a different battery or another angle maybe. good luck
