So what's involved for us poor souls with TMI. I read we have to 'upgragde' to a different set-up to make this work?

TCI ignition will not work with this setup, you'll want to change over to points or a cam triggered ignition like Pamcopete sells

Yeah, I went back and re-read.

There was cloudiness in my brain when I stumbled upon this the other night.

Thanks for your time. Hopefully it is putting money in your pocket. I hate Paypal so I'm gonna have a buddy buy the adapter for me.

I'm looking to do this conversion shortly, being UK based there are a lot of RD parts around, I'm more likely to find a RD flywheel than a Banshee (for sensible money anyway) Question is which model RD has the Banshee type flywheel? I think it's the RD350LC and/or the RD350YPVS models which will have the same crankshaft taper, can anyone confirm?

Not really sure why they wouldn't just use a capacitor.... I use a capacitor. My bike has been on a capacitor since I tore it down in 09. I learned how to do it from a thread over on the 650 garage forum from MrRiggs. Picked up his bracket. Converted from TCI to Pamco and away I went! I like having the open space under my seat instead of the fake oil bag.

Tci

Im new here, but not new to buildin my own rides. I need to know why i cant keep my TCI and still use this setup. There must be a way. I used Pamco's setup with no battery on the last 3 bikes i built. This is the first time ive worked on a bike with a TCI. Any info would be great, and if this is a stupid ass question feel free to let me have it.
