Hugh is one cool dude. He was very helpful and does top notch work. I am lucky and just live about an hour away from High and got to hang out with him a few times. Came out of this with a great friend. If you have a XS650----do the permanent magnet alternator swap and rephase. Hugh will hook you up.

I can't say enough good things about Hugh. We have been friends for a long time so maybe I am biased but I think he (the shoprats) are some of the best guys at what they do. I spent a few days this week in asheville with them and got to see first hand the dedication that Hugh has for his customers and his products. While I was tearing down a motor and having a blast he was sitting at his computer answering emails and voicemails helping everybody with tech questions for half the day. Then when he finally got to get his hands dirty I really saw the craftsmanship and care that he takes with everything he does. He is a standup guy!

At the end of the second day I was there he finally took some time to work on his Digger thing. Worked on some mounts on the Girder and the time he took to make sure it was just right was really showed. This is him tacking the mounts on.
