TWINE BALL RUN: July 30-Aug 1, 2010 (aka "ChopCult Gathering")

Details:


When: July 30 ,31 and Aug.1

Where: Glen Elder State Park (Siox/Kaw) Campground sin Waconda Lake, Kansas

Cost: (just for camping nothing for the actuall run) $8.50 per tent per day and a Vehicle permit is $4.20 per day. No Reservations needed just show up! There's a nice showerhouse and vault toilets. Bulldog says they have an amplitheater and is finding out how they feel about a band playing there that saturday night.

No Sponsors, No Vendors, No Bull shit

Bring your own Tents, Food, Water, Booze etc.

Ride to Cawker City to see the worlds largest Twine Ball that saturday

Prize for the Cultist who rode the furthest.

Possible Burn out contest and other silly festivities.

I like that idea... Thats a great run period. Pick a summer day and head for the center of the country. Requirements? Bag, Tent, Bike.... there HAS to be a place to buy beer somewhere near the center of the US.... what else do ya need? I have (had... now unemployed) a derrickhand that grew up around there.... Might be able to hustle us up a farm to camp out on.

well it doesn't even have to be a affiliated with the cult dudes (which is probably something i should look into don't want to step on any toes) I just think this ride we threw together in minutes converging in the middle of no where from all over sounds like a bad ass idea.
