Read the first post
Several of your questions can be answered by simply reading the first post. Details about sizes, colors, pricing, materials, etc can be found there.
As for fitment pics, I'll get some pics posted today or tomorrow of me and hopefully billdozer or someone else with a large cranium so you can see how the Novelty compares to The Hustler.
Don't get your hopes up for an ultra low fitting DOT approved helmet, though. These things have the additional safety foam which is not included in our novelty line that makes them sit about an inch higher on the head.... like the Bell 500, Fulmer V2, etc.
Stay tuned for more details...Comment

We've definitely got people interested, so once they are ready to ship, make sure I get a shout to a get a few before the holidays. Really digging the titanium grey. Thanks Mike!Comment

I would say the size/shell/fitment is equivalent to the Fulmer V2.
The Bell looks lower on the shelf because of the way the skirt is cut, but when you put it on a head, it's about the same. There is no getting around having the foam inside, and the height it produces.
It's been a long time since I've had a DOT lid on, except for some racing lids and I was really surprised how comfortable this shell/liner is. It's nice as hell, but just don't expect it to sit as low profile as our Novelty helmets, it's not physically possible.Comment

Well said Bill. Still anxious to get my hand on some of these! Finally, I can quit turning away potential customers wanting DOT. WORD!Comment

Hustler Helmet's Available
You probably didn't expect to hear that! We just offloaded our first container of the new DOT approved lids and they are everything we hoped for. If you want to be one of the first to own one of these lids go here: http://www.biltwellinc.com/index.php...duct_list&c=32
If you want to wait for more info/pics on the new lid, we'll be posting lots more content here, on our blog, and Facebook.Comment

Ok painters, start pin-stripping and flaking the hell out of these things. Do it for those of us that have to have DOT. I don't know about the other services, but the Navy requires a DOT lid. I'm so fucking glad these came out!
Does it have the tag in the center of the helmet with all the DOT crap on it? Sorry but base cops can be dicks.Comment

Kick motherfuckin ass! The only reason I don't have a biltwell, is they aren't DOT.
My bell 500 is nice, but I'd rather be running a DOT Biltwell with a custom paint/stripe job!
do they fit like most other helmets? then I"m a XL.
Gonna order one next payday, in copper.
