Very nice indeed! On my wish list.

But what I'm REALLY waiting on are the throttles... hint, hint... wink, wink... nudge, nudge (pretty please with sugar on top hurry the fuck up!)

shit, those look VERY nice guys. Here's the deal. . . for the sake of argument let's say each of the DOT lids you compared are exactly the same price, fit, style, comfort, etc (which they aren't but again for sake of argument) it's all about NAME BRAND and QUALITY. BILTWELL has both and I assume anyone here on the cult that needs a DOT lid will buy a BILTWELL over the others hands down. Great job on these!!!!

That kicks so much ass. What size on the dot's would you say is comparable to the old non dot's one size fits most? Ive had the non dot for a while now and love it, but always in the back of my mind is the fact that If I hit something my head will split in half.

Dr. I wouldn't say that any of the DOTs are straight across comparable with any of the Novelty lids. It's just a different animal that requires a bigger shell to fit the dense foam required to meet DOT requirements. Best we can do is show all the comparo pics on page 4 of this thread. Hope that helps.

Hey, good looking out Billdozer, I must have skipped that page. The shape of the hustler looks even better than the novelty to me, nice.

Virtually no stores have them in stock yet. They fit very similar to the Bell or Fulmer. You will have a hard time finding anyone that has them in stock before the first of the year since we just released them and shops don't typically take on new products like this until after the holidays.

$100 is a good price! I paid around $60 for my fulmer v2 on ebay. This new lid would have to be really good to make me switch tho. I am wayy more than pleased with my current lid.

MikeD, good looking out man. Hopefully by the time I get to try one on a few more colors may be out and I'll have a couple more options.
