I had a '71 that got screwed up jumping the R.R. crossing, when I was young.

Thanks, my brother use to have a nova and he jumped it over hills quite often. Eventually totaled the thing. Youngsters have bigger balls than Old Dudes...

This thread is too good to die, thought I’d revive it with a photo of the 74 f100 I just picked up.

I traded this '78 Cordoba for my FXR.
400ci, dual exhaust, smoked T-tops, opera lights, blk blk blk and of course the fine Corinthian leather.
It was a cool night cruiser.

Hey MIKESIERRA what's in the Valiant?

My Dad had one of those, I think that was the one with the push button transmission?

Here is my daily driver. a 1964.5 Mustang with a later '65 289 .30 over. Nothing crazy, but I am working on getting a 351W for it and punching that out with a better transmission and a 9" rear. I picked this car up about 16 years ago and it was a roller.

Here are two I shouldn't have let get away. My 1963 F100 with a four speed and inline 300. That truck was a tank. I used to haul parts like mad with it. I sold it when I didn't think I could pay insurance and maintain two vehicles. Big Mistake. My 1965 Barracuda was also a fun car. It had a slant 6 with a three on the tree and I swapped it over to a 4 speed with overdrive and a pistol grip shifter. I can't for the life of me find pics of the 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 convertible I had. Dark green with black and a 455 under the hood. This was around 2012 when gas was almost $5 a gallon in California. It had a 20 gallon tank and got about 8 mpg on the highway.

A 1966 mustang I picked up recently. They had just redone the seats and they also had new carpet, headliner, kick panels, visors and a ton of other stuff for it that has yet to he put in. It has the 200 inline 6 in it but I just got a 302 for it that came out of a crown vic that I plan to build up. I got big plans for it. Like I needed another project though!

Some real cool cars in this thread. Figured there’d have to be a car thread on here somewhere.

Here’s mine, 87 Dodge van. We do a lot of vanning out here in Portland area in this, it’s a real solid rig and currently working on the interior

That's a sweet van. I just scooped one up last week. She's a bit rusty and looks nicer than she is but she's perfect to haul parts inside.

The diamond is all crusty but still looks decent. She just needs some baby moons and white letter tires.
