It's a '60 and I want to kick myself in the balls for selling it.

Not all that old but pretty damn rare. They only made 4300 of these in Brazil and about 100 of them leaked into the US. My dad purchased it back in 1982 and drove it from Conn. to Cali. It's a little ripper. It's a MP Lafer kit car on a 72 VW Chassis with a 1600 Beetle Motor.

If it's got a VW chassis, it rules in my book! Very cool.

i still have to install the moulding, and briz bumpers.

i went crazy with that jeep color(rescue green), but i think it turned out pretty dece. i was nervous for a while...

That Jeep color looks really clean on it.

thanks man. i think i pioneered that shit. i don't know anyone else using it on an old car. when i told my body guy what color i wanted, he looked it up and called me back to talk me out of it. he thought it was going to look lame. but he was surprised after his guys painted it. he came around to like it.

now i'm realizing i should probably get a hold of some spray cans so i can detail other parts of the car. as well doing the interior, which is complete shit. and i need better than 4:11 gears in the back. this thing is shaking and screaming at 50mph.

Are you running the Flat I-6 or Flathead 8?
